24-Hour Crisis Hotline

On average, a victim will call a New Mexico-based domestic violence hotline every 15 minutes; one out of four calls will be from the Doña Ana County area.

La Casa's 24-hour anonymous hotline is where the journey begins for most victims of domestic violence.

Our diverse team is compassionate, patient, and trained to meet each victim where s/he is and to support her/him in identifying a path forward and transforming from victim to survivor. The majority of victims come in contact with us through our emergency hotline.

Last year, La Casa, Inc. stood as a beacon of hope for over a thousand individuals in crisis. From helping a mother and her children escape a dangerous situation to providing legal guidance and emotional support, our team answered 1,029 crisis calls. Each call represented a person in need, a story of courage, and a step towards safety. We are proud to have been there when it mattered the most, serving as a lifeline for so many. We remain dedicated to providing critical support and resources.
