When you donate gently used household goods, furniture, appliances, clothing, jewelry, toys, or books to La Casa Inc., you’re making a direct impact. First, your donations go to the clients we serve in Las Cruces, Deming, and Anthony, providing essential support for those in need. Items that aren’t needed by our clients are then sold at our thrift stores, where 100% of the proceeds fund vital programs for domestic violence survivors. Any remaining excess donations are shared with local non-profits and community organizations that we partner with, ensuring your generosity continues to benefit others.

We are always looking for donations:
- Housewares & Furniture
- Men’s & Women's Clothing Shoes, and Accessories
- Children’s Clothing
- Baby and Toddler Items
- Electronics, Toys, and Books
- Unopened Hygiene Products
We kindly ask that donated furniture be in good condition, free from significant damage like large tears, stains, broken parts, strong odors (such as cigarette smoke or pet odors), or excessive pet hair. While minor scratches may be acceptable, items with major damage or excessive wear cannot be used. Ensuring the quality of donations helps us uphold the dignity of our clients and maintain the integrity of the items sold in our store, directly supporting our programs.
Additional Items we do not accept:
- Used Breast Pumps
- Opened or Expired Cleaning supplies
- Box TVs
- Sharp Knives
- Weapons
- Car seats or Cribs
- Items that are broken
- Used Mattresses
Donation pickup of large furniture and household goods is available Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 am to 4 pm. Please call 575-323-3861 to schedule a pickup.
Items must be gently used and in WORKING CONDITION ONLY. The items picked up are at the discretion of the Donation or Store Manager’s approval.
We are grateful for any donation, but receiving items that we cannot use at the shelter, in the homes of our transitional housing clients, or sell in the La Casa Thrift Store, puts an added burden and expense upon us by having to dispose of them. Thank you so much for your understanding.
