Fleeing an abusive relationship can be overwhelming or complicated due to a several factors including custody of children, citizenship status, mistreatment within or fear of social programs and emergency services, financial ability, and a variety of other factors.

Our advocates are here to support you by answering questions you may have and connecting you with both internal and external programs that are best suited to meet your specific needs. Reaching out is a big step, but it the necessary first step on the path to a violence-free life.

Assessment

As the first step, we will help you complete a service assessment. We can do the assessment by phone or in person.

An advocate will discuss your safety and goals and decide (with you) whether or not our services are the most appropriate. If we are not the best answer, we will help you identify the best services for you and your children.
